Cancellation and Refund policies

Cancellations

For all cancellations, please contact the trainer with as much notice as possible. For scheduled absences, such as vacations, please give the trainer one week's notice. For all unexpected absences, such as family emergencies and illnesses, including those involving the dog, please contact the trainer as soon as possible. The trainer must be contacted no more than 48 hours after the missed session to be eligible for a make-up session. Make up session scheduling must be discussed with the trainer. Failure to communicate an absence with the trainer will result in a forfeit in the missed session, including the fee for the session.

For weather related cancellations by the client, please contact the trainer with as much notice as possible to reschedule. For weather related cancellations by the trainer, an email will be sent out to all clients for that day or timeframe informing them of the cancellation as well as individual calls or texts based on client preference. All sessions cancelled by the trainer will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

For any cancellations due to emergency on the trainer's part, contact will be made as early as possible and the class will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

Refunds

Prior to the first week of class:
All refunds requested prior to the first session will be given, minus a 25% non-refundable down payment.


After the first week of class, prior to the 50% mark in the package:

A prorated refund will be offered if less than 50% of the sessions have been completed, i.e. before the end of session 3 out of a 6 week package.


After 50% of the sessions are completed:

Refunds are not offered after 50% of the sessions are completed, i.e. after the 3rd session in a 6 week package.


Refer out cases:

Any dog referred out for extreme reactivity, aggression, or anxiety will be given a prorated refund that includes the deposit.
